R. Kikuo Johnson and the Poetry Foundation have teamed up to produce a two-color rendering of A.E. Stallings' poem, "Recitative." Lovely.

R. Kikuo Johnson is the author of a wonderful graphic novel I read last year called Night Fisher.

Amazing.

Reminds me of e.e. cummings work but much more visual. Very visceral and nice.

if this reminds me of any artist it's definately the guy who did jimmy corrigan, the smartest kid on earth. if you read about this and like the art and the beautiful literacy of it all then I highly recomend any of you read BLANKETS by craig (i forgot.) just go look it up as a graphic novel.
