Public string/cup telephone
This fantastic string telephone installation was spotted in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I wonder who was on the other end.String telephone booth (Wooster Collective, via Laughing Squid)

Here's your answer!
No! I don't know her number...
that phone is just down the block from where I live and has been like that for a few weeks at this point. there's another broken phone just around the corner that had a banana with googly eyes glued onto it hanging from a string. I got a picture of it off my cell phone, enjoy: banana phone
Awesome, thanks RushO.
This makes me giggle like a schoolgirl. Whimsy.
is this at the Blue Front?
yeah, it's blue front
Thanks, RUSHO18! I updated the post.
This is pretty funny, but I would hesitate to call it an outright installation. Gag seems more like it, but still funny.
Damnation! It's back in my head.
Heh. I live in A2; I'll have to venture out and see these for myself.
Hooray for red plastic cups! They're so versatile:

Maybe the other end goes to a similar phone at a bar in Portland, OR.

Hey, I put the piece up in front of Blue Front on Packard and State in Ann Arbor. It was up for around a week until yesterday, it found it sadly squashed flat on the side of the road. I think it's awesome that someone put up another piece on the other side of Blue Front. Thanks putting it on your site. Keep the art up and the eyes open!

I waited and waited, but no one would talk to me.
