Puppies

Poor kid, chased by a slavering pack of wild dogs. He's gasping for breath, unable to scream. What a horrible fate - drowning in puppy kisses!

Nothing brightens my day/night like a herd of puppies. Later that little boy ate one. Was eaten by the puppies. Laughed more. Had a martini.

Zippyspincycle...congrats on pulling another non-commenter out of the dark. After reading 800+ VB posts (the good arguments--as I saw them--were already stated) and finally giving up to the tide (who are these people who read 800 posts in 45 minutes? it takes me hours), and after retreating to other happy posts, including painting your house with water, you cracked me up so hard. Uh, kelly, they were adresssing and continuing to address people's concerns in that thread.

The puppy post is in response to the people who are sick of asinine, moronic, idiocy spewing forth from there and are welcoming a change of pace. Eager to continue spewing hatred and idiocy? go back into the thread. Some of the rest of us are ready to move on.

I disagree, a herd of kittens are cuter. It's because cats are such individualists, it's just that much more special and cute when they cuddle. They have more expressive faces too.

That said, I understand the appeal of indiscriminate puppies after a day of dealing with (people who behave like) crazy cats. A puppy will lick your hand, maybe try to sniff your crotch, but they won't tell you that you are a cold hearted bitch when you tell them /NO/ (No is only a word that the cat person in question is allowed to use, not YOU), and maybe accuse you of leading them on even though if you don't hold their hand at all you are once again a COLD HEARTED BITCH and Has A Problem.
