Giant squid bag by Gama-Go

I love gama-go's designs, but was hugely disappointed when i actually got around to buying something, an awesome panda print hoodie-the hood was misshapen to the point where i couldn't put it on without the whole sweater being pulled up around my ears, and the fabric/construction screamed china-made (which it was). When i'm paying 80 bucks for an item of clothing, it'd be nice if it looks like it might actually be worth it. they were super nice about me returning it though...

VENARAIN (#8), Wow. That hasn't been my experience at all. I loved Gama-Go stuff (long before I met the folks behind it) especially because of the quality.

JonoDavis, they look pretty different to me. I mean, putting a squid on a messenger bag is an unusual idea, but one person doing it doesn't give them the exclusive lock-in for squid-bags for the rest of time. Who knows, maybe there was another squid bag out there before they did it?!

Hmm- nice-looking bag, but when I got to the site to contemplate buying it, I couldn't decide if such a stylish object would be categorized under 'men' or 'women'. Since when did the outdated gender binary apply to messenger bags, and since when is making people attempt to figure out under which gender you may have categorized your gender-neutral product a functional navigational system?

Oh, Glittertrash, how I second that thought! I'm tired of a world in which purple thigh boots don't come in size 12. I'm sick of men's anime tee shirts having swords and guns, and cute ones with kittens only coming in junior miss sizes. But Gama-Go are lovely people. Just drop them a note and mention your frustration.
