Boing Boing favorite Ape Lad says: "I just posted a finished moleskine sketchbook on flickr. Probably my last moleskine till they make a small one with white paper." Link
I liked #35 the best. It really captured a nice mood. One thing that worries me about putting things up on Flickr is theft. I know, CC license and all that. I still worry about it. I do see that Ape Lad had low resolution pics up. Maybe that is a disincentive.

I had the same attitude towards the Moleskine sketchbooks - I like the form factor but the paper just ain't doing it for me. Then I ran into a line of sketchbooks called the "hand•book" from Global Art Materials - they have the same sizes as the Moleskines, the bands and the back pockets, and much nicer paper. Plus they come in several colors, and varieties bound in both portrait and landscape.
A green landscape-bound hand•book is my current purse sketchbook; I don't think I'm ever buying another Moleskine again.

Be sure to also check out Ape Lad's Star Wars Hobo mail art here too:

Nice! Ape Lad should see if he could become one of the rotating artists on the relaunched Amazing Spider-Man--his J. Jonah Jameson is perfect!
Beware - if you start the slideshow you're in for the whole ride. Wonderful stuff.
Ape Lad is good for the Internets.

Yeah, that's great and all, but I'm waiting for him to fill up that finance ledger I sent him.
