Monochrom's Greatest Hits CD

Johannes from the mad Austrian net-art collective Monochrom sez, "Yesterday we celebrated our (incredible) 15th birthday in Vienna. And, as a nice little birthday present to ourselves, we released our first CD/LP. It's called 'Carefully Selected Moments' and it's a collection of newly recorded songs and remastered monochrom oldies; some in English, some in German. The page features back stories about all the songs. And -- hell -- lots of the songs are not only political or philosophical but frickin' danceable." Link, Link to buy CD (Thanks, Johannes!)

Is it just me, or does that rock remind everyone of a vagina?

You know, I logged in just to post the same thing. Yes, it does resemble lady parts.

Well, without the plushy vagina it's just 'art collective' wankery, but at least they've got that going for them.

hmmm, to my eye it appears a large, natural salt crystal, lit within.

It's the Old Salt Lamp and his friend, the Blue Terry Towel. And I'm not making it up.

hah! thought so. Saw those lamps for sale at a rancid mall once.

Not only does it look just like a vulva, it's somewhat reminiscent of the first Dubstar album cover.
