Excellent slash cartoon mashed up with Pulp's "Common People," performed by William Shatner. (Thanks, wyrmwoud!)

Glad you liked it!
The creator of this is a legend.
Super awesome! But I don't see how it's K/S slash cartoon.
Um - that's a Bill S. and Ben Folds actually.
Its a track off of "Has Been" - http://www.amazon.com/Has-Been-William-Shatner/dp/B0002RUPH4
Excellent work!
About a year ago I did a similar style vid, and even used some similar shots "The Lorelei Incident" is apparently the go-to TAS episode.

great video! who wants to be common? Most of us spend all our time trying to be better than common!
> Um - that's a Bill S. and Ben Folds actually.
No, that's Joe Jackson singing with the Captain. Actually.
That song has racked up an amazing 800+ comments over on RadioParadise.com, more than I've seen for any other song.
Everyone's right! It's from the Ben Folds' produced William Shatner album Has Been featuring a cover of Pulp's Common People with Joe Jackson on back up vocals. Geez.
yay for everyone being right!
Make...it...stop....please....make....it...stop....
that was full of awesome!
When's Shatner's next album coming out?
This is SUCH an awesome song... It almost took the top of my head off the first time I heard it! And when Joe Jackson comes in? Doesn't get any cooler...
My wife and I actually sing in the chorus on that song. Ben Folds recorded it when he was in Louisville, KY for a non-commercial radio conference show. It was awesome. He said he was working on an album with Shatner and needed a choir that he didn't have to pay. You can hear us (and a couple thousand other Louisvillians) come in for the first time at 2:51.
Joe Jackson comes in at 1:43.
Producing, arranging, and playing count as performing, "actually," art carnage.
thanks for correcting me after i provided the link to the actual album. with the actual Joe Jackson credit. actually.
Best video I've seen all week. I got the album. Thnx.
@15 - you are my hero. Did you sing on the other songs with choruses, like "You'll have time", too?
@18 HistoryMan68...no, we only did the chorus work for that one song. Folds was only on stage for about 30 minutes, but he taught us the entire line work and had it all recorded and still played a couple of songs. It was super high energy. He was like a madman.
The chorus list is supposed to be in the liner notes, although I've not seen it. He said he'd put everybody in the notes that signed their name to the board out front. Sadly, we did not sign our names, but we know that we were there.
