Alice in Wonderland journal

I have an inordinate fondness for Alice in Wonderland stuff -- it was the first book I ever read on my own -- and I'm really delighted by this sweet little Alice journal/blank book I just picked up. It features a nice mix of the Tenniel art as well as other classic public domain versions of Alice, and some great quotations from the book. It's got a nice moleskine-style elastic in Alice Blue, too. Link

Pretty, pretty. If I had eight dollars to spare...

Say, only three left in stock. Hmmm.

Miss Melissa;
I'm not sure how much I like your writing yet, but it's certainly slick and evocative. (Take no offense to my uncertainty- I'm usually like that. I need to read more of it!) Where is bloodmaker's daughter sold?

Looking forward to reading more, then!

Oh, and don't look at my DA writing. It's terrible! Good to meet you, and I'll be eagerly awaiting that note.

I was lucky enough to find a great Alice in Wonderland in a used bookstore - small format, printed in London; the clearest reproduction of the complete Tenniel illustrations I've ever seen. That one stays on the bookshelf with the select few... where I can find it easily.

For a great alternate illustrative interpretation, check out Ralph Steadman's version.

Me too.

I always buy journals, and never fill them. Still, something to add to the [ever growing] collection.

I also love Alice. I treasure my 1st edition of the Annotated Alice with the Tenniel illustrations,partly because my Mom gave it to me and because it is a beautiful book.

I have some Alice illustrations here in the portfolio section of my site:

The ones in black with blue tones in the "illustration" section. Some day I hope to get a book off the ground.

sorry for the shameless plug, but check out "wonderland" by ill Imperial. Its a hip-hop song about Alice in Wonderland, its kinda abstract and psychedelic...
