Skinizi is selling laptop and iPhone skins with art by eBoy and other artists. The eBoy skin shown here has every member of Jackhammer Jill's extended family! Link
Who came first, Skinizi or Gelaskins? No matter, as long as both has good artists. This is very slick, the kind of art style that screams "I am a computer, because I believe in pixels".
It's a shame they don't (seem to) carry skins for the Nintendo DS Lite. Mine's an old white model, and I've been looking for a way to tart it up a bit, but most of the commercial DS Lite skins leave me cold.
All these laptop skins are making me sort of hate my desktop computer. I don't suppose it would be safe to just spraypaint my keyboard.
-- If you take it apart first, sure! It also depends what kind of spray paint you use, you'll want one that does not have solvents that will eat away the plastic (NO LACQUER THINNER!), and adheres well to plastic. In other words - most any cheap spray paint. If you're a typing geek like me, leave all the keys blank afterwards - it'll really mess up anyone else who tries to access it. (Especially if you type in DVORAK.)
@#5: Yep, though this does look like bad coding on their part:
"
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /var/www/prod/includes/functions/database.php on line 19
Unable to connect to database server!"
Now remember kids, always close your DB connections after you're done with them.
What would be super-cool? If the icons were all animated; they'd hypnotize passersby, and make me the envy of my local non-Starbucks caffeine dispensary.

now if only they'd add covers for EEE PCs at Gelaskins or Skinizi's line up.

That eboy skin looks cool. All animated gifs would be wild.
I know how you could do the animated gifs idea, sort of. It's called Lenticular art, or lenticular imaging. It would look really cool.
