That does look really cool. And that is, after all, the purpose of a couch.

Fortunately, too, because if the purpose was to seat people, it would be pretty useless. That's got to be the worst seating capacity to space occupied ratio I've ever seen in a piece of furniture. (Except maybe that metal cube you're supposed to sledgehammer into a chair that we had a couple weeks back.)

@NORES: Agreed, the back seat of my '69 VW bug had more space for action-getting. Plus, it had an engine and cost me about 1% as much as this (1987 dollars.)

That's not a couch. That's a LOVEseat.

For the second time in a 24 hour period I'm flashing to Minority Report; this reminded me of the wall-crawling cars that should have run over Tom Cruise.

I like it, but in order to justify the width (and likely the cost) the seat itself ought to be wider. And it better get good mileage (that's what she said...).

make it better: The seat has to be able to tip back, SUDDENLY.

Woah. Neat design but that couch displaces wayyy too much space to warrant the usable seating area it provides.

Too pricey too.

It reminds me of Professor Frink's Hover-Couch (but with the Death Ray Blasters retracted)!
