Scott Beale's Maker Faire photos

Scott Beale of Laughing Squid took a bunch of fantastic photos and videos of Maker Faire, which was held this past weekend in San Mateo CA. I had a wonderful time at the Faire, and it was fun meeting all the BB readers who kindly introduced themselves to me! Link

Maker Faire was so fun this year! I'm sure everyone else had a good time too.

Still waiting for the BBTV ep i saw being filmed tho ;P. It was totally fun being a complete dork when I introduced myself to Xeni.

I have never been to something so well organized in all my life. Wow!

I also got really crazy and had a corn dog and a bite of funnel cake. I felt like a nine-year old surrounded by diodes.

Maker Faire truly is like a huge FAO Schwartz for big boys. I felt all my childhood ADD rushing back.

Way bigger than the last two years. We arrived at 2ish and had to be bused in from the CalTrain station. My finance had no idea what she was in for and walked away very happy I dragged her there. And my teenage son was inspired. Anyone with a teenage son will appreciate the gravity of that statement.

I went last year and it was a blast I really wish I could have gone this year. Unfortunatly I got sick on Friday and had to cancel my trip. Oh well I'm happy for everyone who went and had an amazing time.

OMGOMGOMG! this was my first Maker Faire and it was sublime! There was this total sense of belonging, of being completely surrounded by folks I understood and who understood me! I did not want it to end!
