So awesome! Great style. And I love the wire finders on those old Graflexes -- no press photographer would be caught dead with a 35mm SLR until the late sixties.

I am totally fascinated with the graphic style that these publications are created in. Although it predates the animation style of Jay Ward and Alex Anderson, back to at least the mid-forties, seeing illustrations like these always reminds me of Rocky and Bullwinkle. Anyone out there know the roots of this illustration genre? Some links to examples maybe?
