My now 4-year old son was given "Bembo's Zoo" at his Red Egg & Ginger Party (at around 4 mo). He loved it. Check out the nifty Flash animation of the animals formed from letterforms: http://www.bemboszoo.com/. He's gonna love this version too.
Very interesting. I've never thought of using a font style alphabetical set as an artistic building material. What's it called, Alpharobotica? Cyberalphebetica? Fontaexpressionism?
"Honey, the robots have gotten into the fonts again!"
fontastical !!
On a similar note, have a look at the typographical animations by an old work buddy of mine, John Lycette, at: http://www.lycettebros.com/notmytype/
They're pretty sweet.
Why hate the serifs?
Man, this is cool. Reminds me of those little books that taught you how to make animals out of a couple letters. I can still do a frog of C and Z.
That is too cool.
Those are my new favorite. They kinda remind me of the shark in *The Raw Shark Texts*

Font-based robotics: It's the way of the Futura!
One, two, three, shout it with me:

i guess, with serif fonts they would be steam punk robots.
Well it sure made an impact on me.
Awsome you guys
