Agreed. There's an extended trailer for "The GOlden Compass" that shows scenes from the last three chapters of material from the book which is ENTIRELY CUT from the theatrical version. Even people who didn't read the book felt gyped.
I, for one, eagerly await Iron Man: The Trailer: The Movie. I heard it has a cameo by Jeff Bridges.
And they are going to turn the cameo appearance into a lead role...
