that is absolutely brilliant.
Is this link not working for anyone else?
I click it and it cannot find the page within the domain.
I really want to check this out.
cool.
I'm getting two different results: either a WordPress "Error establishing a database connection" message, or a slow to no load.
I think the server's been overloaded.
I got through just a minute ago - hilarious stuff
personal fave; the soma ad
Yes I found " Error establishing a database connection " hilarious too .
boingboing brings death to another innocent website... when will it ever end???
so, you are saying it's kind of like death by snoo- snoo?
borked!
Hi folks,
Actually, it looks like the post is working now, but on the off-chance it goes down again, I've put a backup here:

Thanks,
Mark Rayner
p.s. Death by snoo-snoo is okay, btw.
p.p.s. You can enter the contest for another week!
THe site seems boing boinged. Pity.
Yup, I get the same thing on both the primary and secondary Links. "The requested URL /blog/archives/vintage/ was not found on this server."
aw jeez!
I got to see it earlier today, it's good stuff! Keep trying it's worth it.
4O4'd!! For both links posted so far. Which is a shame because I really want to see the contest results. I'll check back later.
Boingboing'ed?
When you go to markrayner.com you see a nice default "Plesk" page.
It's back now folks. Server just couldn't handle the traffic yesterday.
Mark
Mark,
As of 9:20 AM Central, I'm getting 404's
10:30 EST, can't get through on either one. it's a great idea though, i'm looking forward to when i can actually see it.
Same here: I can't view it, now but was able to view it last night...very good stuff Mark !
Hi folks,
Well, smoke is pouring out of the servers and the network guys are running around on fire.
Apparently, there is no immediate fix in the offing, so you'll have to check out the contest later when the traffic dies down. (One ticket per customer.)
My apologies.
