Not sound like an uncultured fool... but...

why?

Yes, well done, super awesome. I love this.

Uncultured fools:

People waste/spend money on expensive shoes, gourmet food, rare books, tech gadgets, sporting events, vanity license plates. If it doesn't scratch your itch, why not keep your trap shut about it?

This is a whimsical and amusing object, I'd be happy to pick one up if I had the money :].

"If it doesn't scratch your itch, why not keep your trap shut about it?"

My my, isn't someone being unnecessarily aggressive? I didn't call it ugly. I just didn't fawn over it. A simple "because some people like it" would have sufficed and probably made your point in a much more mature manner.

any relation to the infamous 419 anthem I Go Chop Your Dollar?

@ Artemia

ignore #3. I was about to ask the same thing, not because I don't get the concept of buying art for art's sake or enjoying pretty what-nots but because I wondered if there was an inside joke I was missing or if the artist is popular with a specific group. It looks so much like a peice that references something else.

one of the first thing that stood out to me was that on the axephunt's container there's a drawing of it and the trunk, eye and ear look like they spell "cum." hate to take it beyond low-brow, but i just noticed and guess maybe i'm the only one.. ha

"I Will Chop You"

Don't think that'll sell too well in Rwanda...
