"You know our whole concept is God first, family second, and career third, and I truly believe that if we keep our lives in that perspective that we can't help but be successful..."
Oops! Not 1972, it's from 1977. Check the Roman numerals in the opening credits MCMLXXVII. Also, the outfits worn by the various MaryKay-ites were late-seventies vintage. Sorry, I lived through the seventies and remember this crap.
Ira Gallen of t.v.days and t.v.networks is a hero of mine. he collects reels upon reels of footage and has been digitizing and uploading them to his utoob sites for some time now. he's apparently recieved several cease and desist letters only to have them reversed after he explained his project. I've been a subscriber to his utoob sites for awhile, and recall one time when everything was taken down only to be restored a few days later. take the time to check out his work. my personal fav is the 1912 Douglas Fairbanks two reel "The mystery of the leaping fish"
Thanks a lot, Mark. Like furlong64, I lived through the seventies and remember this crap, too. Nothing quite makes me recoil in horror and disgust at quite the spped of Mary Kay and her pink cars. What a shock to see her and her minions raise their collective ugly heads again. (Thanks again.)
Since it's not "Mary Kaye" and it's not 1977, is there any chance this wasn't a promotional film, so we can get the Everything Wrong trifecta into play?
All great scams/shams/cults have promotional videos.

I'm not invested either way (amway, mary kay, herbalife) about these pyramid schemes but I do think that the cynicism of these companies exploiting peoples ignorance is shameful. God wants you to be rich, why aren't you?
How many of us have relatives and co-workers who thought these type of schemes are the ticket to true wealth--they are like the payday lenders of the middle class and frightened stay-at-home parents.

Mary Kay, Rudy Giuliani separated at birth?

Can you say Pyramid?
I grew up in the 70's as well and the Pink Caddy's were pretty common. I still see an occasional MK vehicle but now they're doing the SUV thing.
Apologies for the typo tsusami earlier. MK has that effect. Also the overused "quite".
I have plenty of pictures from 1977, and that does NOT look like 1977 clothing or hair. Looks more like early '70s or late '60s. Are you sure??

Shirley MacLaine made a pretty interesting movie about Mary Kay a few years back:
