I like the gold plated tungsten idea. Also maybe a Brass or Copper ring would be cheaper and equally cool

How much for the Uranium one??

Isn't this the same link from the Gadgets blog from a few days ago? Why isn't this in the standard tech wrap-up?

Damn, I've never wanted to wear jewelry before in my life, but these suckers are beyond cool.

Why would anyone buy these unless they just like throwing money around? I admit they are geek-chic, but their website lists no info on weight or purity. With gold at somewhere in the high $900s for 24k, how much and of what karat is the gold ring, or the others? Nice enough, but not on my list.

The Au is 14k and the weight depends on ring size. The other don't say.

It must be the element of surprise

MARRZ,
Brass and Copper would leave nice green rings on your finger, and brass is not an element (I guess you could put Cu and Zn on it though). You could have a ring that said "Br" but you wouldn't want any Br in it. Or did you mean gold-plated brass?
Neither is as cool as a Ti ring would be.

I would gladly take a sparkly (synthetic) "C 6" ring. I little harder to read but much more to my liking.

@ OasisOB1:

The He ring _is_ available, but it unfortunately
requires a prohibitively expensive case to keep it
below -272 Celsius.

I'd like one made of sodium. And another of technetium.
