Groovy baby-blankets

Love the custom baby blankets from Baby Leo Designs, in a variety of groovy retro prints -- we've got the retro robots (shown here) and the golgothan spiral of skulls ("I am become death, filler of nappies"), and we've given away a couple as gifts already. They're made to order -- you can choose coloring for the satin edge and the lining. Link

Translator's note: "nappy" (GB) = "diaper" (US) - nothing to do with hair :-)

Very cool. This has to be the best baby gift for an sf lover that I've seen on BoingBoing thus far. I wish I knew a new nerdy parent to give this to.

These prints are cool. I wish they had one with chili peppers on it, though. My 3mo daughter's name is Cayenne, and it would be cute to have a chili blankie. We've (wife, mother-in-law, and I) been looking for months. It's surprisingly difficult to find such an item, or even a red pepper fleece pattern.
Cayenne seems quite happy with her 'conventional pink' blankie anyway.

Reminds me of these amazing custom made baby quilts by Dandelion Quilts. I bought one for my little boy and two for gifts - we LOVE them - Definitely something to pass along after our kids grow up.
