Runnin' With the Beatles
Enjoy this surprisingly effective mashup between the Beatles "Drive My Car" and David Lee Roth's isolated vocals to "Runnin' With the Devil" while you can. (Thanks, Simon!)

wow - i love mashups, but this one really, really doesn't work for me. i'm probably just cranky due to the time change, though.
Seconded, Franko: I don't know what's to blame. This is fairly well done technically; it just isn't interesting musically.
Well I loved it, probably because it's a mashup of two of my favourite artists rather than two more 'contemporary' groups that I have never heard of before.
My only complaint is that the DLR vocals were too "in front". I would have dropped them a bit, so the resonance of the sound booth wasn't as prevalent, and it blended in more with the Beatles. But then again, I'm a production geek. :-)

Why does Yoko Ono come to mind when I hear the crazy wailing mixed in with Beatles music?
Horrible!
How about this one with anime, buffy and spike, trek lesbianism, etc

Wow some tough critics here. I loved it but agree that DLR was a bit too high in the mix. But some very interesting juxtapositions. And placing them both convincingly on the same stage never gets old to me.
John Lennon and George Harrison just rolled over like Beethoven...
I actually thought this was pretty great. The DLR vocals initially struck me as generally unusable.
Thanks for your comments/critiques, guys. Please know that I slapped this together and threw it up on YouTube as a goof, (I love messin' with that Diamond Dave iso track)...didn't spend much time on it, and forgot that it might accidently get thousands of views/comments (from people who'll assume it's the best I can do)... I gotta quit doin' that...- David
