Combination scooter and camping cooler
I spotted in this in the SkyMall catalog, but SkyMaul couldn't have parodied it better. The Cruzin Cooler is a combination beer/food cooler and scooter. It's available in gas or electric models. According to the Cruzin Cooler site, it brings together two, er, "basic necessities of life, the ability to have cold food or a beverage handy along with the means to get somewhere, without walking." The Cruzin Cooler sells for $400 to $700 depending on the model.Link

@MINTPHRESH (#1), Any number of things could have happened. Maybe I missed the suggestion and the other editors didn't find it interesting. Sorry! Anyway, a belated thanks for submitting it!
Back in my days on the Grateful Dead tour circuit, lot rats used to run around with their coolers on skateboards selling bear, sodas, & H20. One of these would have been great!
I miss my liver.....

These were at CES. AP had a story on them.
@FRANKO (#7), None of us has ever been to Burning Man other than Xeni.
Not being able to walk is HILARIOUS.
Not being able to walk or carry things is even funnier.
Stay classy, BoingBoing!
How do you ride that thing? On your knees?
Doesn't hold a candle to the Flying Barstool Croozer. I mean, that thing doesn't even have a grill.
(Worthless shill disclosure: I work for Honeyshed.)
Y'know, I have to believe that if this exact same item had come to BB out of some Maker's garage and was linked to an Instructibles post, the snarky question of "why" wouldn't even come up and there'd be nothing but awe and admiration.
Which makes this post just another head shake over SkyMall -- by which I mean, carry on.
