Awesome lo-fi music vid: El baile del karramarro, by Paniks.

A lovely lo-fi video for the song El baile del karramarro, by the "Rock, punk, garage, gospel, soul, westerns and rumbles" band Paniks, from Spain; produced by Nadia Barkate, Marion Cruza & Eider Gutierrez. (via Antville, via Reverse Cowgirl.)

Nice video. I like the clips they chose to use from the opening dance sequence of the 1965 Bollywood film Gumnaam (the scenes in which the woman is dancing with men in suits). Some of the same scenes were used in the movie Ghostworld. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyEnG_DEB1I

reminiscent of Ryan Larkins early work. Very nice.
Also, I wonder what is not lo-fi about hand drawn (charcoaled?) images formed into an animationed video.
