Laser etched Moleskine notebooks with unicorn
Moleskinerie reports that an Etsy crafter is selling Moleskine notebooks with a unicorn laser etched into the cover. This is a handsome, noble, old-school unicorn, as opposed to the modern kind that have wings and live in rainbows. Link (Thanks, Simeon!)

Thanks for the chaser Mark. Is this for:
1) Amphibian eats mother's skin?
2) Worst food in America: Outback Steakhouse Aussie Cheese Fries with Ranch Dressing?
or:
3) Steve Ballmer?
I may just have to sacrifice my pride and get one of these...
What exactly is wrong with unicorns that have wings and live in rainbows?
Perplexed,
Still not as cool as a black light poster of a unicorn riding a snowmobile.

I had a folder with that same image when I was in middle school. Used it until I couldn't duct-tape it together anymore
Many finer locksmiths have laser etching machines on hand and they can work with your digital files...
I brought a laptop in for etching and it was 18$, with my own file.
The notebook cover is soft, so takes less time in the machine - i.e. cheaper than 18$.
Use in combination with a steam punk pen and Boing Boing shall explode or suffer existence failure.
alas they are sold out.
Dear Perplexed,
I believe a horse with wings is a pegasus—it is in our imaginations where we combine our favorite creatures. Thusly we are endowed with the a new generation of pegacorn unisus, the octacorn unapus (octopus unicorn), and the unagon dragcorn (unicorn dragon).
It's not really an 'old-school' unicorn, as it has no beard. Mediaeval unicorns had beards, cloven hooves, and tails like lions'.
But that should in no way detract from the appeal of the item...
