HOWTO do a movie decapitation

DIY splatterpunk film directors take note, Erik Beck from Indy Mogul posted an Instructable on making a cheap yet effective decapitation effect for your next slasher movie. The ingredients include: a test dummy, fake head (we used styrofoam), foam, liquid latex (preferably in a skin color), garden sprayer, valve, 6 bottles of food coloring, and a balloon. Link

I hope that I'm not the only one that expected that the person explaining the method would have his head suddenly be chopped off mid-explanation. [seriously, why didn't that happen?]

Gotta love that the "Indy Mogul" is sponsored by a big brand Hollywood movie.
Otherwise, it's a pretty cool thing they did, and it's not that he's over enunciating, it just seems that way because of the way his mouth moves I think.
