Pure win. I will be mashing this somehow or another...

Does anyone else hear a crazy upper octave up above when he's doing those high rockandroll screeches?

Either there's some weird shifting vocal effect sweetening things, he's got some crazy Tuvan throat singing skillz, or I just didn't get enough sleep last night.

Could very well be option three.

I hear the crazy second octave too.. I think it's gotta be some kind of effect filter that kicks in abover a certain register?

About DLR's vocal skills, he is able to produce what is known as Whistle Register, the highest register of the human voice and one octave above falsetto. Diamond Dave is a god. A golden f***ing god.

Here's a link to a David Lee Roth/Kraftwerk mashup I did with this isolated track. I call it Runnin' with the Calculator. I've only got it up on Sendspace - not sure if it's going to time out or need reupping soon. Nonetheless, enjoy it if it's still working.
