Supremely awful Hungarian anti-war white rap video
Hungarian rapper "Speak" covers a lot of territory in this supremely awful -- i mean awesome -- video. It's about people who make a war. It's about Tupak Shakur. Yee, comeon, thasright, check, peas. Link. (thanks, Matti Laakso)

I have never used ROTFLMAO in it's literal sense before. But this did it. Whew..
bizness
only a Finn would find this funny
Is there a word for vomiting and laughing at the same time?
Yee, rock on.
That would make a nice B-Side for Leonard Nimoy's 'Ballad of Bilbo Baggins'.
There isn't any raaping in the video at all, but I do love the part where the one guy goes into the screeching falsetto.
Business.
My mirror neurons cringe with embarrassment!
Why is his race relevant? Is "white rap" and new sub-genre or something? This also doesn't really seem like rap to me. Rap requires creating a rhythm with your voice. This is just a guy talking with some people singing.
I like how he releases the dove at the end. "Yee, come on, all right."
Did he say "Catch the Batman?"
Meh, I've heard worse. Kinda catchy, actually, when you factor in ESL and their (very real) experience with wars not only in Hungary but in neighboring countries as well...
I don't think I'd buy the tune, but I'd definitely download it.
Sometimes people make a war, indeed.
Doesnt look like the Hungarians (and Speak himself) take this too seriously if you have a look at some of the "live" performances on youtube. Could have started seriously but looks like the song has descended into parody...

@12 - I agree with you expect for the past about listening to this again. For me, it is enough that it exists.
I respect the sentiment and courage(or self-delusion) needed to record this.
It seems there are surprisingly few recent songs with similar sentiments popular in north america. None as blatantly honest.
This is pretty old (I live in Hungary and it's made the rounds since about 2005) but is always amusing. I may have even suggested it as a link... Anyway, glad to see it's been imortalized on BB.
jiii, kamon, bizness.
sweet baby jeebus. we need much much more of this kind of thing asap. fantastic, peas out.
haha, i saw this guy at my university... conveniently enough at a comedy night, he didnt have a proper backing track, he just sang over the full recording, which made it sound really strange when he was out of time with the recorded lyrics :P He only did two songs, I'm not sure if it was because that's all the songs he has, or if the looks of horror on the 30 or so people there meant he just couldn't go on anymore... He's either the worst rapper in the entire world or that special kind of genius that can make something so hilariously bad on purpose.
For all your re-used goods basement gym needs...
Borat's brother is totally bad-ass. Why can't American's make really bad rap videos like that...what's that you say?....oh...never mind.
did anyone happen to notice that he pulls up in a frickin' Porsche before he starts caterwauling about whirled peas? Oh the heartfelt angst of privileged white boys!
This is pretty old now but funnily enough I was thinking of it this very morning as s prime candidate for running through overstream ( http://www.overstream.net ) a new site which allows you to overlay subtitles onto youtube vids - I thought a 'pop-up video' style load of abuse would work quite nicely on this - a la http://www.overstream.net/view.php?oid=ihiumolqurndu5l7nbl9
Many, many apologies - this was very quick and dirty - http://www.overstream.net/view.php?oid=r7luidemn5ng
Wow he doesn't want THE war!
this has a puffy "missing you" (or whatever his take on "every breath you take" was) feel to it. damn you business!
#22: Maybe he borrowed or rented the car. I've known rappers to borrow cars and dogs. Also, they didn't seem to be surrounded by women all the time in real life either.
