I think describing it as "Victorian" might go a little too far. The interior is all but devoid of Victorian architectural details, including colors and textures.
Make it Victorian that lived through the decades since and got painted, and renovated so there's some mid-century and '70s stuff too - that was the concept, a New England "camp" that's been in the family for generations.
It would be top notch if your next project ran on green fuels! That said, kudos for using recycled furniture. I've been fascinated with mobile homes since childhood, but I never knew you could build your own! I love them even more now! Thanks for the great video!
Jake, awesome work. I read your bus page when the project was in it's early stages and am beyond impressed that you followed through with it to this point. It's just great. I love the cut-down full size doors. They have a fun-house look while still being homey and traditional looking. (If that makes any sense.)
The bus was a heck of a deal.. diesel pushers are nice. I've often considered a transit bus (Local transit authority, COTA, often sells their surplus busses on auction - and they go for cheap) but they are geared too low I believe.
@Team Funk Machine: This being diesel, he could run it on biodiesel or greasel!
Love the drop shadow of the photograph. And what that implies. Very Homey!
Thanks KID! BTW: what does the drop shadow imply other then I know how to use the scriptfu menus in The GIMP? ^_^
I really wanted to discuss the post under this one on the Buddhist chants, but it's the only post around with no discuss button.
I'm discussted.
So I'll just say that I'm glad to see the kids these days are getting a better school ride.

I wouldn't say Victorian..... does give the idea to do a gypsy caravan school bus though

that's more like it. You do nice work, Jake.
Glad to see this on boingboing. I can't wait to see this thing in person. Excellent work. It will make a perfect support vehicle for your steam car.
