"Bacon: The Candy of Meats" embroidery

200801071201 This was an entry for my Sublime Stitchmas handmade contest that was worth sharing. A pig, with cut selections dotted out, and lovely scrolling script reading "The Candy of Meats." Bacon and embroidery. Two of my favorite things.

Homer: Are you saying you're never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Ham?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Pork chops?
Lisa: Dad, those all come from the same animal.
Homer: Heh heh heh. Ooh, yeah, right, Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal.

Wonderful and magical, indeed!

I prefer the term "Champagne of Meats", personally.

If you've ever socialize with a pig, you may never eat bacon again. They're intelligent, expressive animals.

Dude, I've watched pigs eat bacon while they were crapping.

Don't go the PETA shame route - it's an HOV lane to "fail".

This is genius.

Bacon and candy. Two of my favorite things.

I'm guessing you didn't grow up around farm animals.

Pigs are intelligent because we bred them to have big brains. Why? Because their brains are _delicious_.
