SomethingAwful's Bob "BobServo" Mackey has created this fantastic (and eerily believable) set of RIAA liner notes for this year's CDs.

As long as your headphones are RIAA-approved and carry an encrypted digital signal straight to your head with none of these so-called "analog holes"...
Sony use scare monger tactics to sell their DRM then their end goal is to sell multiple licences per device per unit just as they have with the psn release of warhawk!
FTA: In order to protect our investment in this ground-breaking game and maintain our ability to offer a 24-hour free online gameplay experience, SCE will be utilizing an alternative Digital Rights Management (DRM) policy for the downloadable version of Warhawk. The downloadable version of Warhawk, which will be available from the PLAYSTATION Store on Thursday 30th August, will be directly tied to the registered PLAYSTATION Network (PSN) account that purchased the game. Only that registered PSN account will be authenticated for gameplay. You will still be able to download the game to up to five PS3 systems. However, if a user downloads Warhawk onto a different machine, he / she will only be able to play via the original PSN user account on that machine and could not play on a different machine for 24 hours.
The MPAA Are: SONY, UNIVERSAL, WARNER GROUP, DISNEY, PARAMOUNT, FOX.
The RIAA Soundexchange Are: SONY, UNIVERSAL, WARNER GROUP, EMI.
But wait... is it OK to listen to an approved CD through headphones/earpods only while giving a deposition on behalf of the RIAA?

sorry, it's poorly-written and not very "fantastic" or even funny.
One prob --the RIAA doesn't give half a sh!t about the "permission of the artist."
"Curse those Well Draculas! I just got the new Britney album, and rescue workers won't be here for hours!"
Some of my ferrets love music
My cat adores music so now I have to buy him his own copy of "Simply Mad About the Mouse".
