Rodent traps in a street market

Today in my ongoing series of photos from my travels, a Sunday market stall's display of rodent traps, shot a few weeks ago in the Brick Lane street market, which is your basic discount socks, mobile phone unlocking and accessories, umbrellas, off-brand builders' supplies market, located just a few steps from the screamingly hip indoor artisanal markets, which sell remanufactured vintage clothes, handmade jewelry and lovely screen prints of tentatcled horrors. Ah, Brick Lane market. I lived on Cheshire Street for two years, and it was a great time apart from never having a lie-in on a Sunday morning. It's amazing what you can buy there, things like boxes of Duracell batteries for a pound, and they really are Duracells. There are lockups around there that are treasure troves, rooms full of old computers rescued from city refurbishments and the like, and the people selling junk along Sclater Street and Vallance Street. The East London Line is either going to kill a lot of it or make it stronger, it's difficult to tell at the moment.
Lame. Any proper display of rodent-killing devices should include at least one dead rodent on display to illustrate the devices' efficacy.
