Shoe amoire
This huge shoe, seemingly inspired by Mother Goose, is actually an armoire for a child's room. Opening the door and windows reveals shelves, drawers, and large storage. It's 9'H x 8'w x 3.5'D and made from solid foam cast and wood. The roof has cedar shingles and the attic window is actually a night-light. Each "Whimsical Shoe Armoire" is custom made upon order from Posh Tots. The price? Just $49,000.Link (Thanks, Michael-Anne Rauback!)

I have one that looks like a bottle of cooking wine.
My sherry armoire?
Lovely as a summer's day!
For cripes sake. $49,000 will buy a college education.
The same site offers a pirate ship playhouse for $52,000.
How does that saying go? This stuff is for people with more money than sense.
I think sense has nothing to do with it for somebody that can afford $49,000 for one piece of furniture. Though it is pretty great. Maybe a better saying would be the stuff for people with more money than god.
If you give me 49 large, I will gladly construct for you several armoires in the shapes of your choice. I would prefer 49,000 of something that isn't USD (sterling would be favourite), but I'll take what I can get...
No deal Wham. It's dollars or nothing. None of that pinko sterling crap.
What's an amoire?
If people are going to pay fool money for furniture, they might as well get something interesting.
Strider: aaaargh!
