The first lady – number 846 – has the hottest outfit, and she fills it out quite nicely, but most of the outfits are a bit, to a good deal hotter, than the ladies in them.

an interesting fact about star trek was the costume designer was allowed to go all the way down to the nipple on cleavage, as long as no nipple was showing, but they were allowed to show no portion of underboob at all.

25 ish years later we see the underboob finally triumph on ds9.

Star trek has always been a pioneer... i guess.

The weight of the hair/wigs/wiglets/falls alone is staggering. The foxy ladies of Star Trek should be saluted for their stellar (no pun intended) neck strength if nothing else.

Actually, Cpt Tim @20, I remember reading about the "no under-nipple exposure" rule in (I think) David Gerrold's The World of Star Trek when I was in high school, and then, years later, giggling at Denise Crosby's underboob-cleavage costume in the early Next-Gen episode "The Naked Now." I always assumed that the costume was a deliberate inside joke...

I haven't watched in years... i'm getting rusty.

(but yes, the world of star trek was where i read it too. it was a great book)

I see Yeomand Rand has been added (1149) -- hands down the winner. Sorry they did away with her character, was in early episodes only.
