i actually was in this wedding (big dude with bleached blonde hair badly in need of a touch up to the roots). i can't tell you what a kick it is to see this as i do my morning browsing at work!

also, to netik - there was a gear-themed cake. it was *delicious*. :)

since when is it good form to bag on somebodys wedding?
They got the article, deal.
Be happy in your wedding, and let them be happy in theirs.
And as far as the wedding cake goes, the Stand of your cake is great stuff, but it is still a regular cake as far as I can see.

The Other Michael,

Our officiant wanted to have steam, fire, and I'm not entirely sure what all. He called the venue regarding fire codes first. Needless to say, he didn't have any steamy accessories.

Sometimes fire codes prevent the full steam force.
