i actually was in this wedding (big dude with bleached blonde hair badly in need of a touch up to the roots). i can't tell you what a kick it is to see this as i do my morning browsing at work!
also, to netik - there was a gear-themed cake. it was *delicious*. :)
Netik,
since when is it good form to bag on somebodys wedding?
They got the article, deal.
Be happy in your wedding, and let them be happy in theirs.
And as far as the wedding cake goes, the Stand of your cake is great stuff, but it is still a regular cake as far as I can see.
Don't be a jerk.
Our officiant wanted to have steam, fire, and I'm not entirely sure what all. He called the venue regarding fire codes first. Needless to say, he didn't have any steamy accessories.
Sometimes fire codes prevent the full steam force.
Will we be getting more steampunk posts in the new year?
Frankly I can't get enough of them.
Keep them coming!
This steampunk wedding is especially great!
This wedding lacks a Steampunk Cake.
Ahh, apparently my flickr link was lost in the posting.
Please check out a previous steampunk wedding, months before the above wedding, here:

Beautiful wedding.
But, steampunk-labelers, where's the steam?
Unique and stylish- great follow-through on a concept. And killer colors!
Wonderful post of a marvelous wedding. I love it.

Since a steamy intent has been demonstrated, I give my blessing to the resultant union.
