Thanks Mark! Made my day to see my picture up on BoingBoing. Now my children can finally be proud of their father :)

Thanks, Father Brown. I was unsure whether to laugh or not, but you've sorted me out.

I found something similar at a local Toys Rus back in June.

Funny, yes.

Chris Rock is hilarious
Rodney Dangerfield is fidgety
Charlie Chaplin is poignant
Phyllis Diller is wacky

Big deal, (algebraic) sign confusion.

Just looks like someone messed up when making it. I make signs at a store and they have different fields for sale and regular price. Looks like their program dosn't stop it from making a silly mistake like that, not to mention it's funny the person putting it up didn't notice...

I don't see the error here. It is $10 more expensive so you save -$10. Maybe they should have put the negative in front of the dollar sign but the math is correct.
I just want to watch all the costumers who only know Verizon math.

The math may be correct, but one would not normally consider a $10 price jump a "sale".

We have a lot ads like this in Latvia: "Disceount -10$" or "Save up to -25%".
