Passing By presents two films that piece together brief segments from many different journeys into ever growing sequences of sights-seen-along-the-way, while looking out of the window of a car, a train, a plane or even just pushing a shopping trolley around the local super market.

This is absolutely awesome.

I just wish there was a way to easily choose between them besides having to open up the RSS feed. Great idea, though.

Just curious-- does DHS have an agent on this? I bet there's a LOT of suspicious activity going on here. Maybe we can find a firefighter to monitor this site, hahaahahaha

Cool stuff. It reminds me of a short experimental film by Canadian filmmaker Ian Toews, the name of which I forget, where he essentially shot through the window of a speeding Japanese bullet-train to get his footage.

They should accompany these with podcasts of annoying people you get stuck next to on long flights.

Reminds me of the video Michel Gondry did for the Chemical Brothers song "Star Guitar". Very cool stuff, and definitely worth checking out if you haven't seen it before.
