Plexiglass furniture cover

Vivre, sellers of decadence, opulence, and curious design, are now offering custom made plexiglass cases for your furniture. The cases are built at the studio of designer Maurice Renoma whose acrylic-encased vintage furniture, like this club chair, has been exhibited at places like the Louvre. I've always joked about the old aunts that used to keep the clear plastic coverings on the furniture (the uncles would have to lay a towel on the sofa or chair so they wouldn't stick to the plastic).

Tom, remember the movie Time Bandits? The kids mom had plastic on the sofa, and "Evil" kept his henchmen covered in plastic too.

It's not protection. It's an RL bounding box for collision determination.
