Isn't that the bank whose commercial provided the lyrics for The Carpenter's "We've Only Just Begun"?

Most if not all of those sign photos were taken in the south Puget Sound area, where I lived in the 70s and 80s; I recognize some of the locations and even the signs (the Baydo's dealership at S. 72nd and South Tacoma Way) as having still been there in the mid to late 1980s. I suspect some of them are still there today.

Yeah, these are all from the Seattle\Tacoma
area of Washington State. Some of these
are still up.

I'm glad Roadsidepictures was finally recognized for his work - he's a damn fine photographer, as well as collector of vintage ephemera and packaging. I'm waiting for him to come out with a book!

The Poodle Dog restaurant still has this same sign, although the building has been remodeled. We stopped there for lunch once, because we liked the name and the sign. Pretty good food.
