Bagel screwdrivers -- steel washers that work on slot-screws of all thicknesses
These steel-washers-cum-screwdrivers look like they'd be mighty handy!
Link (via Make)This innocent-looking 1" dia. flat steel bagel is really a very versatile pocket screwdriver. What makes it so effective is the range of edge thickness (from 0.030" to 0.090") created by a ramp formed on one side.
It replaces dimes, quarters and table knives, all of which have width and strength limitations. We sell them by the dozen because they make excellent gifts, particularly to those whom you want to discourage from using cutlery for household repairs.

Kind of like a spark plug gauge thingy. The disc that lets you measure the distance between the points.
That's a spark plug gauge not a screwdriver. Dumb!!!
As others have pointed out, nearly identical in design to a spark-plug gauge, which incidentally I have used as a cheap micrometer. This would be a much more functional tool if they had put etchings to indicate the gap size.
Why not just use a screwdriver?
Yes, it's much more convenient to carry around a set of three or four giant screwdrivers than a small coin-sized thingie. These are great.
I actually have one of these things - on my key chain. And it can be pretty darn handy.
I never liked using these for gapping spark plugs, so this is clever repurposing/marketing.
But...if this is for a key chain...I'd opt for a semi-serrated knife, flat AND Phillips screw driver, eyeglass screw driver, and bottle opener.
I am speaking of Swiss Tech Utili-Key.

They have a lot of other handy things there, worth a look.
At least a screwdriver that won't make the TSA go bonkers...
I'm still waiting for a folding "rock" that is to be used for hammering when hammers are inconvenient and the heels on your shoes are already broken. Also aids in deterring abuse to rocks from your garden.
PBJay, bad things happen to me when I look through the Lee Valley Tools catalogue.
That said, I like this gizmo. As Coligny said, it won't set off the TSA's alarms.
