Fungus Amungus on Instructables posted this project back in January. His uses a circular whiteboard so you can write in your latest thought.

There's a great party game waiting to be made out of that portable whiteboard version. You caption each other's thoughts - the proviso being that the captionee isn't allowed to see what's written before it's rubbed off.
