Andy Warhol perfume

Warholperume NYC perfumery Bond No. 9 is launching an Andy Warhol-themed fragrance. A collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation, the scent is named "Silver Factory. According to Basenotes, "the fragrance contains notes of Incense, Wood Resin, Amber, Jasmine, Iris, Violet and Cedarwood." Available in December, it will sell for $230 for a 100ml bottle. Warhol would be thrilled.

...Actually, I'd expect any scent named after Warhol to smell like a combination of the following: chlorine, body odor, tempra paint, and xerox emissions. Something that only a Goth would find attractive :p

"Incense" is a pretty damn vague scent description. That's like saying it's "scented candle" or "perfume" scented. There are probably thousands of different incenses in the world.

i would think that a perfume named after the factory would smell like a combination of paint fumes, cigarette smoke, booze, sweat, and the smell given off by the velvet underground's cranked-up amplifiers. either way, i'm sure andy would totally love this.

Everyone knows that if you want novelty perfume that make sense and smells delicious, you go to the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. Lovecraft smells better than Warhol, anyway.
