Unfortunate funnel cake sign

The painting of this funnel cake (found on a sign at Maker Faire Austin, which is happening this weekend), looks like it has already been consumed and pushed through the human tube. The wavy and spiral lines rising from the treat are supposed to convey sparkly goodness, but they look more like flies and odor emanations.
