HOWTO Add a "charred corpse" effect to a plastic skeleton
IMakeProjects has a great tutorial for adding a really grisly "charred corpse" effect to any plastic skeletons you might have lying around the house. They recommend using the charred ribcage as a serving dish for your Hallowe'en party.
Link (Thanks, BowlOfToast!)First thing to do is apply some black spray paint to the "inside" areas of the skeleton. The nooks and crannies that should be dark but that we don't want to have to try to paint by hand later.
Some good places to paint black are:
* Eye sockets
* Joints
* Inside of rib cage
* Along the spine

I have lost count of the number of times I've needed a charred corpse and is there one nearby??? Like heck there is!!!! Really used to burn me up, if you know what I mean.
Now I can make my own. I'm so happy.
I have a bucky corpse on my porch. Since putting him there, I haven't had any religious solicititation, and these people used to interrupt me daily. I might keep him there.
Weirdly, some strange guy stopped by and kissed him.
Here's a (bad) picture of him:

We had him boarded at the piratye store last year, but he creeped out the owner's wife and they kept him in the back.
That's more of a 'busty' corpse. Oops. My mistake. Looking at the wrong one...
I need to make one of those and put it inside the barbeque grill in my apartment complex. That'd be one hell of a good surprise for somebody.
Har, har. :-)
