Cereal Killers -- forthcoming book of spooky funny cereal box art

Cereal Killers -- a forthcoming "coffin table book" from Kreepsville Industries -- is a collection of lavish, spooky, Wacky-Package-style parodies of cereal box art. The publisher is serializing (ahem) the art from the book on a blog prior to publication, which will be a print-on-demand project from Lulu. Can't wait to order mine -- this looks GRRRREAT! idk... this doesn't really point out the decline of cereal box art as much as i had hoped it would. I feel like this is more of a perversion of cereal box art and would be just as relevant at any other point in time.

this reminds me of a stop motion animation my friend damon made: http://www.damonmcintyre.com/portfolio/animation/cerealcillers1.mov

thats a very cool movie. its a shame it isnt any longer.

Oh god, first post I opened this morning.

UNICORN CHASER PLZZZ!!!!

Wacky Packs were the BEST! :D

Dr. Hypercube, that's a great mural. Where in Brooklyn is it?

Do any of them have free vials of cat urine inside? Or are those $2.99 with 3 UPCs from select sizes?

Hahaha, I just RTFA and LOL. Tinkles. Close enough!

TNH - the mural was just north of Williamsburg - Wythe and somewhere close to 14th. I mapped the big Flickrpic as best I recall. We were looking for CB's I Hate Perfume (http://www.cbihateperfume.com/), but he wasn't open - perfume that smells like burning leaves in the fall? Libraries? Yow!

Live from Austin, Texas! Check out this band's cerela box play on corn pops for their flyers!

Teetering planters

Family friends in Cincinnati made this delightful outdoor planter. It's a very simple idea -- just run a metal rod through the drainage holes on the bottom of the pots -- but I think it creates a really nice cartoon funhouse effect.... More.

Fireplace named world's most beautiful object

I don't normally believe in throwing around superlatives, but this suspended black steel fireplace designed by French company Focus just won the award for World's Most Beautiful Object at the Pulchra design competition in Italy.
