Skull wing tip shoes

Skullshoe It's hard to see in this photo, but the broguing on the toes of these Barker Black wing tips is in the pattern of a skull and crossbones. Hand-finished, they're available in black or cognac through Vivre for $750. A great fit for punk bankers.

that's actually a cool idea!

but skull and bones it a bit not-so-hip-anymore for my taste, but the idea is a killer!

Perfect for Pirates when they have to close that merger or go to court for lootin' and pillagin'.
Btw, how would a pirate sign off on a letter? Or an email?

Punk bankers. I'd laugh, but I actually know a few of those.

Actually there's nothing 'punk' about Barker Black. They were based out of an English cavalry regiment, and the skulls were on the regiments standards. I'm bummed these are on BB, they are my favorite item of clothing ever.

I used to be a punk banker! Or, ok, bank teller. And not really punk. But sometimes, when I was by myself at the drive-up, I would listen to the Sex Pistols!

for $750 you should be able to get whatever you want to punched into the toecap of your wingtips. I dig the skull myself but if you've got the dosh for bespoke footwear you can do better methinks.

this British company makes all kind of custom shoes, including motif slipper. Lots of swell options (dragons, devils, monograms). I've toyed with the notion of getting the skull & crossbones one to wear with my tux for Masonic Lodge meetings.

They do custom embroidery, too. Jackhammer Jill would look great!

For $375, I will take a stencil and the little awl from my Swiss Army knife and do the same for your favorite pair of wingtips. No need to thank me, I live to serve.

Anybody who pays $750 for these is not a punk anything. That said, they're cool and Halloween Jack has the right idea.

If I see anyone wearing these, I will do my best to control the urge to step on their toes and scuff their precious $750 shoes.
