iPhone to include IM and picture messaging soon?

Eeeenterestink. It could just be random spam, though; I'm sure pretty much every other AT&T device can already do instant messaging.

Go to www.modmyiphone.com and you too can have pix and IM, no waiting required.

no, the iphone data plan is $20. unlimited data plus 200 sms messages (you can upgrade for more txts' for a nominal fee). for other phones on AT$T the data plans start at $35... not unlimited.

I'm waiting for the ichat app. there are other IM apps around but I'd rather not sign up with aol or mebo or what have you...

Blargh. It had better. I was less than happy to find that my insanely expensive new phone didn't do picture messaging (or custom ringtones...but a bit of googling fixed that), when my POS $30 phone did.
