Picture 3-68 Google Docs has expanded with presentation software. The functionality is so so. But they have a wicked paper-animation promo video! Someone at Google clearly loves Michel Gondry films.

Google didn't make this, they hired a company called Common Craft to do it. Looks like they've done similar stuff in the past: http://www.commoncraft.com/

The "wicked paper-animation" comes from the Common Craft Show. They teamed up with Google to create the video in their signature style. Too bad they don't get credit! Their "In Plain English" series is spectacular.

It is amusing that they are hosting that with youtube as opposed to google video, no?

The google video was interesting, but the best part of this post was learning about Lee's company and the Common Craft projects.

Yes, the Common Craft videos are excellent, they've been such a great resource for me as I teach many undergraduates who just don't get this stuff (RSS, wikis, social networks, etc.) ... the videos help tremendously.
