Sign about value of mistakes contains mistakes

The typos in this Bertrand Russell quote could be fodder for a lengthy Douglas Hofstadter essay.

Ah those great Bdritish philosophers...

Hahaha, reminds me of the Busted Tees shirt that says "Your Retarded" (spelling intentional on their part.)

I wonder if the accompanying text in an Asian language that I can't determine has any mistakes.

Aaaah... Errtrand Russell!

I don't think this is an unintentional mistake, like suggested in the link.

I would say someone just moved the B from 'Bertrand' to the beginning of 'british', that had it's own b inverted like in a mirror, making the d.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but it does look like type that one can move. But the sign also looks billboard sized, and rather far from the ground, and also kind of like a tv.

Yeah, this sign's definitely been altered, and I think -- for better or worse -- Mark Hurst would probably have more to say than Hofstadter.

At least they didn't botch the text of the quote itself...

I found the B! It fell down to the bottom of the Chinese section.

Altered? It looks like an LED sign to me.
