HOWTO knit marzipan

Back in June, the VeganYumYum site featured an article on knitting with marzipan, featuring a bunch of cupcakes decorated with miniature knit sweaters and other edible crafts. They're fantastic -- and the site features a tutorial for knitting your own marzipan. Link (Thanks, Eris!)

Marzipan edible? Ugh... Foul tasting, but impressive work nevertheless. I do wonder why the scarves are perched on top of dog turds though.

I was disappointed to see that the marzipan wasn't actually knit, but was just scored to give it a knit appearance. Still, quite impressive and convincing!

A well made fresh Almond Paste is a confection that I hold hi regard for. Now and forever. So let it be written so let it be known.
