Hey, it's another Joy Division movie!

Director and cinematographer Grant Gee, whose work you may know from Radiohead: Meeting People is Easy and Demon Days Live (with Gorillaz), has a new film out soon: Joy Division. THR, Variety, Cinematical, and more on Cinematical. (thanks, Susannah Breslin!)

Wait, what? There's a fictional movie coming out? *IMDB* Oh, hmm, it's about Ian Curtis... Okay. Cool.
Good. I can't wait to see both of these films.
Haven't seen this one. But I saw Control and the Toronto Film Fest and it was fantastic.
Also just out: Shadowplayers, a brand-new docu about the Manchester scene in general (hope Amazon links are OK)

And don't forget the memorable portrayal of Ian in 24 Hour Party People, also worth viewing as a Tony Wilson memorial...
What's up with movies where someone writes on glass and the camera sees through it?
