Am I just not paying attention, or has "Jackhammer Jill" stopped jumping up and down when the page begins to load?

It would truly be a sadder world if she were just a static shadow of her former animated hoppiness.

Lets keep a little reverence for tradition here people. I love bOINGbOING, but I love it more when it hops.

this obviously grew out of control long ago the problem starts when one connects a person to media and objects and when that is established you play the media attributed to that person and to the time spent together, and thats the media attributed with our time ,and was ment to emphasize the cutting process. and it was offensive material. which people in israel deem offensive especially if taken out of the gallery context where it belongs, and i would like to apologise to doron sollomons for the missuse of his video, for it was of bad taste,
and is hard to understand in israel, and would be close to impossible to understand outside of israel, growing up in a country where most were effected by it personally,
for the autrocities are part of daily life here.
it had a profond effect on me growing up here listening to the stories of the survivers the only way me and many of my generation coped with it is by distancing ourselves from it,
the autrocities are not imanigable and seeing the images and hearing the stories.
had a profound impact on me.
the use of these sort of images is an extreame and was of poor taste,
and the use of this king of material cannot be understood outside of my personnal context and even so it was of bad taste, especially if understood out of context which only the two of us could understand,

@Eduardo, that's a great idea, but we don't have a way I can imagine to automate the count -- keep it automatically udpated. One thread might have 100 comments when I post the roundup, then increase to 200 an hour later! Hm, thinking...
